Smart Running
Dear Fellow Runner: Up to a few years ago, my running training was just like everyone's. And I had been struggling with consistency in my racing. And it just seemed I was getting slower. I attributed it to age for a long while but I really wondered if this was it. So I started looking at my training and racing more closely to see exactly what I needed to work on. I became a guinea pig of sorts, not unlike what the famous coach, Arthur Lydiard had done. I fully analyzed my program. Then it became clear, a light bulb went on! Running training finally started to make sense. The bottom line: I finally figured it out: I was using the gray matter which resided between my ears, I was RUNNING SMART TWO BIGGEST MISTAKES FOR MOST RUNNERS 1. NOT TRAINING SMART Doing All Runs TOO HARD or TOO EASY Getting the Rests all Wrong in Intervals Not Getting "FIT" 2. NOT RACING SMART Going too FAST from the beginning Not Learning the course before racing Why do we make these mistakes? Because we aren't using our brains! We are just running with no plan and without thinking. Bottom Line: You have to learn to tame the monster! Your Brain!

 When it comes to diet and exercise, chances are you’ve heard it all.  That being said, we’ll save it…the hype that is.  We won’t try to sell you on not selling you; meaning it is not our intention to sell you on a unique pitch that no other program has or to tell you that you’ll loose an ungodly amount of weight in a short amount of time.  Additionally, we won’t try to sell you on why every diet available today will not work for you.  Sure, a quick fix would be welcome, as would a unique pitch, but realistically, it comes down to personal understanding and personal application of the knowledge that you gain.

The Personal Training System has not been developed for the future bodybuilder or fitness professional that resides in some of you.  It’s not promising you 4% body fat for implementing a new way of health and fitness into your life.  PTS has been developed to re-shape the way you think, feel, and act concerning your fat loss goals.  It’s for the soccer mom, the guy sitting in a cubicle all day, and for the people who say they don’t have time to eat right or work out.  Our aim is to help you to answer your individual questions, rather than the population as a whole (as most diet and workout programs would have you believe).
